ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Génesis Mundo — a DONA Certified Doula birth doula, proud Puerto Rican mama to my daughter Gemma, and the founder of The Birthing Magic.
My own birth, supported by a doula who helped me feel seen, heard, and empowered, changed the way I see birth and the strength every woman carries. That's where the name comes from — the magic isn't a perfect labor, it's the moment a woman discovers she's capable of far more than she ever imagined.
As your doula, I offer emotional, physical, and informational support so you can make informed decisions and feel confident, whatever kind of birth you're planning. Bilingual, and proudly serving Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
I also teach virtual doula certification training in English & Spanish through Coaching Salud Holistica — helping train the next generation of birth workers.

That experience inspired the name The Birthing Magic.

As your doula, my role is not to make decisions for you or tell you how your birth should look. My role is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support so that you can make informed decisions and feel confident in your journey.
I believe every family deserves to feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and early postpartum.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS TO ME
I've walked alongside families through hospital births, home births, and everything in between — as their doula, and as a childbirth educator preparing them for the road ahead.
Many of the families I support are, like me, Latinas building a life far from home. I know what it feels like to bring a baby into the world without your mother, your tías, or your best friend from home in the room with you. That's part of why community is so important to me — creating a circle of support that feels like home, even when home is far away.
That belief is what led me to create The Magical Circle—a free virtual community for pregnant and postpartum Latina mothers in South Florida. Through monthly AM and PM gatherings held in Spanish, women can share their experiences, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections in a safe, judgment-free space. You do not have to be a client of The Birthing Magic to participate; this circle was created for our community.
